	Welcome to our web site! A Hand Up For Women, Knox County Christian Women’s Job Corps, strives to be a source of hope to women with the desire and motivation to lead a more self-sufficient life. We provide services and relationships that teach women to realize their potential in every area of life. This web site gives you details about how to become a participant in our program.
	A Hand Up For Women is only a success because of our dedicated volunteers. Anyone wishing to invest in the lives of some really incredible women will find information here about how you can best be used in our ministry. Because over 80% of our funding comes from individual donors, we also give you the opportunity to be blessed by being a blessing. This web site not only provides an avenue to make donating to our ministry very simple, but it also shows you how your investment is making an eternal difference in the lives of our women and their families. 	URGENT NEED We are in dire need of a tutor to work one on one with the ladies teaching them basic computer skills like Microsoft Word and Excel, as well as how to navigate the internet. We have all the necessary equipment and software at our office. This can be done according to your schedule. The ladies need these skills in order to move from working a survival job to beginning a career!
